The Future of the Program
The strong leadership that Fervin creates with their administrative staff has led this organization to great new heights. The applications of administrative techniques have been extremely beneficial to our organization. The recognition of political behavior in employees allows for intervention with administration to be easily facilitated. There has been very little discourse in terms of lack of motivation for employees, the allocation have private funds have amounted over the last couple of years, and the offenders are excited to participate in all that this organization has to offer them. The administrators of the facility have adequately demonstrated their leadership skills. The most common form of leadership that is demonstrated is transformational. The application of this leadership style allows for the employees to exhibit behaviors that are correlated to positive results.
The organization has experienced very little turnover in terms of behavior officers, cognitive behavior facilitators, and the board of directors have been highly supportive of employee needs. The employees working for the organization are extremely grateful for all the services and positive impacts this organization brings to the community. The turnover rate has been under 10% for a two year span. The highest turnover rates are those whom are employed by the cafeteria, and other service industry type of employment opportunities Fervin offers. The lack of turnover has allowed for the expansion of certain programs, due to the confidence of instructors. This implies that Fervin is gradually becoming a desirable employment opportunity.
We as an organization are extremely proud of the success rate of the offenders who have participated in the program. The success rate has been beyond our prediction, and we are becoming recognized as a facility for change. The recommendation to enter this program is being highly touted by judges and prosecutors in the community. This program truly makes an impact in the offender’s life, and can create positive change. That is the most important aspect of Fervin, to ensure that offender’s are getting the help that they need. We are proud to have an annual visit from a former offender, who has graduated the program, and can come back and communicate all that we have done for them in front of our new participation groups. This direct feedback gives the organization a sense of pride, and allows for the inmates to realize that a positive change can be impactful and created upon completion of the program.
Overall, we are very proud of what we have created, and hope that we can expand our organization to communities in need.
